But instead of gratitude or understanding, Ohio law enforcement chose punishment: They targeted the elderly parents of Cinci420’s owner, harassing innocent seniors in their own home. They seized $25,000 of hard-earned cash from the owner’s mother’s completely unrelated small business, threatening her financial security. Meanwhile, opioids kill tens of thousands annually. Alcohol and tobacco cause hundreds of thousands of deaths. Yet cannabis remains responsible for zero overdose deaths. We did everything right—and were punished anyway. This isn’t justice.
